Mountain Survival Tips

1. Tip is avoid the mountains from late October until early May.
2. Tip is to own or rent land for a campsite near a mountain stream for the spring/summer/fall. My parents bought our river property (The Meadow) in the 1970's and it has been enjoyed by four generations.  There is nothing better than a hot summer day on the river.
3. Tip a four-wheel drive is a must.
4. Tip a snow blower is pretty much essential as you get older or own a lot of property.
