Beach Survival Tips

  1. Tip is wear sunscreen and lots of it.  I wear at least 70 SPF on my face and start out with 60. Julie never listens to this advice but others should.
  2. Tip is a good beach chair is an essential. I love to place my chair in the water's edge. The chair needs to be supportive with a cup holder (beverage) and a storage area for lotion and other small items.
  3. Tip is have a nice beach bag with separate compartments so it is easy to find things. It needs to be durable and washable.
  4. A cooler is very helpful for keeping drinks and snacks cold.
  5. A beach cart for hauling chairs, towels, cooler and beach bag is a must have.  Ours was a gift from Meloney. I think she purchased it at Bed, Bath, and Beyond.  You can also purchase them on line or at Walmart.
  6. Multiple bathing suits are also a must. I like at least 5, but the more the better.
  7. A kite is nice.  I bought Rob one that folds nicely into a small bag and fits right inside the beach bag.
